Children?s Book Series You Won?t Regret Sharing With Your Kids

If you have kids, you know that there are a LOT of things to do with them. The trick is finding books that they will enjoy reading time and time again, while still introducing them to new concepts and ways of thinking. To get started, check out these five classic children’s book series that your kids won’t regret sharing with their parents.

Children?s books are some of the most memorable books for adults. As a parent, you want to share your love of books with your kids. You want them to have the same experiences that you did when you were little. There are many great children?s book series that have stood the test of time. Here are five great books that will provide plenty of engaging reading for your children. Take some time to let your kids enjoy these classics. After all, it is nice to spend time with the people that you love so much!

Spider-Man & MS. PIRRES

You might have seen this classic by now. It?s been given several times as a film and television option for the new Spiderman movie. The book, written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Steve Ditko, is a good one for them to reread. It is categorized into three classic Spiderman stories: the good, the bad and the tragic. Throughout these stories we have some classic misfits trying to make an impact in the superhero world. The book shows how the wall-crawling Spidey somehow manages to take care of his own. The bad guys end up being realistic villains.

 Green Eggs & Ham

When you are just starting a new vocabulary with your child, you can work together to introduce them to the more commonly used words. Green Eggs and Ham (also known as Good vs. Evil) is a fun book that shows how the good guys win while the bad guys are destroyed. The illustrations are not quite up to the level of the latest Spiderman, but it?s still a great start!

The Graveyard Book

Yes, this book does have zombies, face-eating ghouls and a man who just wants to play dead. However, The Graveyard Book is a really entertaining book that plays with different concepts.

The Chronicles of Narnia

The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy novels written by British author C. S. Lewis. The books span the entire history of Narnia, from its creation in The Magician’s Nephew to its eventual destruction in The Last Battle. Each book tells a different story and introduces new characters ? much like Pixar’s Up ? whose relationships and adventures are different each time they’re revisited.

The Chronicles of Narnia series has over 145 million copies in print and on shelves (according to Wikimedia), so you don’t have to worry about running out of new projects to keep your kids interested. (Though maybe you do?…)

They may not be action-packed or packed with action sequences, but these books provide content that kids can keep playing with for hours. And favorite authors like Lewis (who died at 96) left us with the occasional warning that if we don’t continue reading the Chronicles of Narnia, we risk the destruction of the world. Books like The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe can serve as a reminder to keep reading while we’re alive, but we also know some children will get to the fun part before they grow up. So, read on (listen close) for the book series that your kids will love despite their adult coloring books and curry dinners.

STICK WITH ME TOGETHER

Disclaimer! Although the books are all the same (and we highly encourage you to check them out), these series are NOT one-and-done. Each one follows a different series of characters from each book. So depending on the ending of The Last Battle between the White Witch and the Black Knight, not only will the characters grow and change, but so will your reading experience.

The end of The Dragon and the World of Narnia comes with a big bang, in a fire that turns the land of Narnia into a burned-out mess.

Harry Potter

Nazarian recommends reading Harry Potter, or any fiction book for that matter, because it lets you escape the real world and get lost in another reality. It?s also a great way to improve your vocabulary. Books like that will help you remember the different words and concepts used by professionals while learning more about your profession, which is always handy!

The Happy Woods

?The Happy Woods? is an engaging tale that teaches children life values and morals in story form. No wonder why it?s fast becoming a favorite bedtime story among all children novels.
