- First thing to keep in mind is that you can only change your name if there is any genuine reason behind your name change requests.
- Only a few changes in your name can be done and the changes will be allowed free of charge for changing any 3 characters in your name and more than that will cost you $100 and $150 AUD if you are from Australia.
- Also you must have the knowledge that you can only change one name in a flight ticket and not more than that.
- The change is only allowed for the same passenger who is booked in the ticket. You will not be permitted to change the complete name and transfer it to another.
- You cannot request for your name change if your booking has multiple flights and all does not belong to Etihad. In this case you will have to cancel the ticket and book again in whichever class and seat you find available and the price may differ with the older ticket.
- After your name change is done in your tickets you will have to show your supporting documents to prove your new name during the changes and while boarding the aircraft.
