    Step #1 – Fulfill first-timer S pass Singapore requirements

One of them is the declaration of your business activity to the Ministry of Manpower. This can be done by notifying the said office of your business activity which is why you need to hire foreign workers.

    Step #2 – Advertise job post at MyCareersFuture

    Before you apply for the S pass Singapore visa, you need to advertise your job opening on MyCareersFuture. This is required by the Ministry of Manpower for them to fairly consider all the applicants. Usually, your job post should be up for two weeks before you apply for the S Pass employment visa.

    Step #3 – Apply for the S Pass employment visa

    After getting job applicants and selecting the best foreign workers for your company, it is time to proceed with the S pass Singapore application. You must request your candidates to submit their identification documents along with written consent to apply for the S Pass on their behalf. Then, you go to the online portal of the Ministry of Manpower and fill out an application form and upload the necessary documents. 

    Next, you must pay the S$105 fee for each employment visa application. Afterwards, you wait for the approval of your S Pass application. Usually, it takes three weeks to get approval. It can be longer if the Ministry of Manpower requests more information. Once approved, you must print the in-principle approval (IPA) letter and give a copy to each of the candidates. The IPA contains a single entry pass for the S Pass candidates so they can enter Singapore within 60 days.

    Step #4 – Request for the S pass Singapore card

    Once the S pass Singapore candidates are in Singapore, you can then request for them to get their S Pass card. This can be done through the portal you initially applied for the S Pass. You will have to provide a home or office address where your employment visa card will be delivered. In addition, you must nominate three authorized recipients at most. You must also provide their NRIC, FIN, or passport number. Their mobile numbers and email addresses are needed for them to receive the delivery notification.

    After paying the S$100 fee, the pass will be issued and you need to print the notification. The notification letter will contain a temporary permit for the foreign worker to be able to do their job while waiting for the S pass Singapore card. It will also indicate whether the S pass candidate should register his fingerprints and photo.

    Step #5 – Wait for the employment visa card delivery

    The last step is to wait for the S Pass card to be delivered. Usually, the delivery takes place 4 working days after the document verification or the photo and fingerprint registration. The S Pass candidate, along with the authorized recipients, will receive the delivery details via SMS or email.
